VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

AYSO is a 100% volunteer-driven organization — every coach, referee, and board member is someone from our own community who stepped up to make soccer possible for our kids. It takes a village to run a season, and there is a place for everyone, no matter how much time you have to give. If you're looking for a fun and rewarding way to get involved, we would love to have you on the team!

SUMMER 2026 AYSO BOARD OPENINGS:

EPIC Coordinator - After years of dedication, our beloved EPIC Coordinator, Lynne Taylor, is retiring at the end of our Spring 2026 season Our EPIC (Everyone Plays In our Community) program is one of the most special things we do as a league — and we're proud to be the ONLY region in the area that offers it! EPIC is designed for players with disabilities who need additional support to experience the joy of soccer. Every Sunday our athletes and their volunteer buddies come together to learn skills, build confidence, and simply PLAY. We're looking for a compassionate, organized leader to take the reins of this incredible program and continue making soccer accessible for ALL kids in our community. Interested or know someone who'd be perfect? Please reach out to us! Contact [email protected] for more information!

Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate (CVPA) - This role is responsible for volunteer screening, ensuring all coaches, referees, and volunteers are properly trained and certified, and serving as the region's resource for child protection and Safe Haven policies. The CVP helps promote a safe, positive environment for every player and volunteer. You can see a more detailed job description at wiki.ayso.org/wiki/Category:CVPA. Contact [email protected] for more information!

The Safety Director reviews field conditions for game days. You can see a more detailed job description at wiki.ayso.org/wiki/Category:Safety_Director.
