Registering at AYSO Region 169, Serving Grand Blanc and surrounding area.

The parent/guardian needs to create an account first at  www.AYSO169.org
After the parent/guardian creates the account, then add the participant(s) / player(s) to the parent or guardian account.

If your player registered in Fall, your player is already registered for Spring of the following year.

NOTE:  The National AYSO fee is non-refundable. It is collected by our National office for operating expenses, and the region does not see any of this money.

REFUND POLICY:
There will be no refund of players registration fee (cost of uniform will be refunded) after coaches meeting, approx. 2-3 weeks prior to start of season


FALL and SPRING Sessions - Registration:
Registration opens up in May for both the Fall and Spring registration.  See upcoming dates tab for more information.

If your player registered in Fall, your player is already signed up for Spring of the following year. (Currently U4 is the only Division that has to sign up for both fall and spring session)
 - FREE for VIP (Very Important Player), those players who are special needs, those who cannot play mainstream soccer.  No upper age limit.
All others:
 - 20.00  non-refundable National AYSO Club Fee.
 - 117.25  Registration fee
 - 2.75 credit card service fee
 - 20.00  Early Bird Registration Discount  (For dates please see the "Upcoming Dates" tab.)
 - 10.00  Sibling Registration Discount (in the same Member Year, Fall and Spring Sessions)
 - 50.00  Uniform Package - for divisions U6 through U15 (if needed)
          Includes:  2 Jerseys (home and away), 1 pair of black Shorts, 2 pairs of socks
 - U4's Division Fee includes a T-shirt
 - U5's Division Fee includes a T-shirt and a ball
 - VIP's uniforms are free.

SPRING Session only - Registration:
Registration opens up every year on Jan 10th for Spring session.  See upcoming dates tab for more information.

Region 169 Jersey colors:
Black is Away.   Red is home.
 
Home: RED jersey and socks
Away: BLACK  jersey and socks
A highly recommended suggestion, have both jerseys at all games.

An AYSO Member Year includes Fall and Spring sessions.
  Fall session starts the first weekend after school starts and goes to the end of October.
  Spring session is approximately Mid-April, May, and first week or two of June.
When your player is signed up for the Fall Session they are also signed up for the Spring Session. (Except the U4 division)
No games played on Mothers Day.
No games played on Memorial Day weekend.

AYSO Region 169 has the following Divisions for Fall and Spring.  Ages for divisions are determined by the players age as of December 31st of the Fall season.
Because we are all volunteers, the coach decides on day, time and location of practice.  Whatever fits into his/her schedule.

VIP - Very Important Player -  Special Needs Players only.  Those who cannot participate in mainstream soccer.  We concentrate on teaching the skills of soccer.
VIP meets every Sunday, 1:30 - 2:30.

U4 (Playground) Division are players, 3 years old, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  The program concentrates on balance and coordination.  Parent participation is required.  No practices during the week.
U4 players meet Sat. 9:00 to 9:45

U5 Under 5 Division are players that are under 5, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  First 1/2 hour concentrates on drills and skills.  Second half hour, group broken into 3v3 or 4v4 scrimmages.
U5 players meet Sat. 10:30 am to 11:30 am.  No practices during the week.

U6  Under 6 Division are players that are under 6, as of December 31st of the Fall season. 
Practice sessions are usually  held prior to their games. Or Coach may have a practice time through the week.  Coaches Choice.  Games are 3v3.
All games at Hartker Fields.

U8  Under 8 Division are players that are under 8, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  Usually 1 practice during week.  Games are 5v5.
All games at Hartker Fields.

Divisions U10, U12 and U15 are interplay divisions.  This means that their home games are played at Hartker fields (Grand Blanc), but their away games may be played at other regions (Birch Run or Durand being the furthest).

U10  Under 10 Division are players that are under 10, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  Usually 1 practice during the week.  Games are 7v7.  

U12  Under 12 Division are players that are under 12, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  Usually 1 practice during the week.  Games are 9v9.

U15  Under 15 Division are players that are under 15, as of December 31st of the Fall season.  Usually 1 or 2 practices during the week.  Coaches choice.  Games are 11v11.

U6 and U8 divisions play all games at Hartker Fields - 5202 E Maple Ave, Grand Blanc
U10, U12, U15 have their home games at Hartker Fields and travel to other regions for the away games.
These games are called interplay games.
(Please have both color jerseys and socks at all games)

Hartker Games for U6 - U15 are scheduled on:
    Sat. from 9am to 6pm
    Sun. from 1:00pm to 6pm
One game may be scheduled during the week (due to rainouts or rescheduling).
Rained out games are the responsibility of the home coach to re-scheduled based on home field availability.

Players are required to have shin guards on for practice and games.
Bring the 5 S's -  Shirt, Shorts, Socks, Shoes, and Shin Guards.
Also bring a water bottle with their name on it.

Ball sizes:
U5, U6 and U8 use the size 3 ball
U10 and U12 use the size 4 ball
U15 and above use size 5 ball
